StorefriendlyGO is a cutting edge technology where you wait for your storage to deliver to you improving customer experience. Your items are also secured in a no man zone.

What is Storefriendly On Demand?

Storefriendly On Demand helps you to bring all sizes of objects from your place to our facility. You do not need to visit our storage space in Singapore as we collect and deliver your items to you whenever you want it.

What is Storefriendly Park?

Storefriendly Park is a service where you are able to optimize storage space while working at the same time.

How can I get my goods to Storefriendly

Customers can use their own transport or Storefriendly movers can pick up your goods when you move in. Ask us in the office for details to deliver. Storefriendly can help you to move your storage items to another location, like your home or office.

What items can be stored?

Most household items, business items and commercial items can be stored in our storage spaces at Storefriendly. Items that cannot be stored in any of our storage spaces include dangerous goods such as toxic/corrosive/oxidizing materials, flammable gases/liquids, gunpowder/firearms, batteries, and prohibited/controlled items and fuel or diesel. Mowers must be drained of fuel.

How safe is Self Storage at Storefriendly?

Storing your goods at Storefriendly provides a clean and safe environment for all items stored by customers. We take storing your valuables seriously. It is extremely important that your personal safety is considered when you visit and the security of the stored items in Storefriendly. Our Self Storage spaces are safe and well-lit. In addition, there are CCTV and 24/7 surveillance system in all our branches.

How long do I have to sign up for?

Storefriendly customers do not sign a long-term lease. We use a simple SSAA approved Storage agreement. You only stay for as long as you need. You can move in immediately on the day they sign the agreement. Your stay can be as short as one month and give us at least 14 day’s notice to move out. Storage fees are paid monthly in advance and can be paid by cash, cheque, credit card.

Do you provide packing services?

No, as we respect your privacy when it comes to the items you store in your boxes. When packing your items, please ensure that items are safely wrapped in bubble wrap or packaging paper if necessary. All items should be carefully packed so that they can be safely transported and stored.

Are my items with Storefriendly insured?

Yes, we provide a storer insurance for your items with coverage up to $50,000 depending on your individual needs.

The property you store at a Storefriendly location is insured against loss or damage caused by any of the following events during the period that you’ve paid to cover: Fire, Lightning, Aircraft Damage, Bursting or Overflowing of Pipes and Water Tanks, Earthquake, Volcanic Eruption, Hurricane, Cyclone, Typhoon and Windstorm and Flood arising therefrom, Full Flood, Explosion, Impact Damage, Riot and Strike, Malicious Damage, hail, snow, ice or frost, Direct Water Damage except for condensation, earthquake shock, spontaneous combustion, sonic shock waves, acts of civil authorities, smoke damage, tsunami, tidal wave, automatic sprinkler leakage, landslip and subsidence (arising from flood only), and Burglary.

The insurance is provided by the Singapore branch of Allied World Assurance Company, Ltd.

What are the terms for compensation from my insurance package?

Based on the value of your items, you can choose to cover up to $50,000. In event of a claim, the excess is generally SGD250 for each and every loss, with a few exceptions (see full list below).

Water Damage

SGD350 each and every loss

Hurricane, Cyclone, Typhoon, Windstorm,

Flood, Hail, Snow, Ice or Frost, Water Damage

arising from overflowing or leaking from any

pipes, water systems, roof, roof guttering and

downpipes

SGD1,000 each and every claim

Landslip and Subsidence (arising from Flood only)

SGD5,000 each and every loss

Leakage of Liquid Clause/Direct Water Damage

SGD350 each and every loss

Burglary

SGD250 each and every loss

All other losses

How do I submit an insurance claim?

Inform one of Storefriendly’s site staff upon discovery of your loss and they will guide you through the process.

What kind of items does the insurance cover?

Most of your items with only few exceptions (listed below) are covered under this insurance programme.

What kind of items are not covered by insurance?

This insurance does not cover the items listed below:

  • Deeds, jewellery, watches, precious stones, furs or garments trimmed with fur, and bullion.
  • Securities, obligations or documents of any kind, stamps, coined or paper money, cheques, books of accounts, other business books, computer systems records, manuscripts, plans, drawings or designs, patterns, and models or moulds.
  • Registered motor vehicles and motorcycles, boats or watercraft.
  • Any flammable liquid, gas or oil such as petrol, kerosene, LPG, aerosols, diesel fuel or engine oil, any corrosive chemicals or nitrates such as chlorine, sulphuric acid or fertiliser, coal, or explosives.
  • Tobacco, cigarettes, paint or tyres in bulk.
  • Your excess, which is the amount of any claim that you pay before the claim is paid to you.

substances, items or goods illegally

obtained

birds, fish, animals living creatures

illegal substances, drugs, items or

dangerous, explosive, combustible or

flammable materials or liquids such as

paint, petrol, oil, gun powder,

items which emit any fumes, smells or

odours from the unit or any noise to
